The moon is one of my favorite and most challenging subjects; I try to watch every moon rise as it is a reminder to me of the magic and mystery of life. This moonrise was taken just off Red Cloud Mine Road, not far from Martinez Lake near Yuma, Arizona, The mountains you see are called The Kofa Mountains, named for The King of Arizona Mine.
